Supported HorizonVPN apps and device options

Choose a full-device app, browser-only extension, or Smart DNS based on the device and protection you need.
- Windows 10 and 11 x64: full-device desktop app
- macOS: App Store build or current direct build offered in the signed-in dashboard
- Linux: official Debian packages for amd64 and arm64
- Android phones and tablets: Google Play app
- iPhone and iPad: App Store app
- Chrome and Firefox: browser-only extensions
- Eligible TVs, consoles, and similar devices: Smart DNS when included in the plan
The browser extension does not protect the whole device, and Smart DNS is not an encrypted VPN tunnel. A supported full-device app is the primary choice when you need VPN encryption and Kill switch behavior.
A self-service router VPN profile, customer port forwarding, and customer-selectable Multi-Hop are not currently documented as available. Do not use unofficial configuration files to imitate them.
