Uninstall HorizonVPN safely

Disconnect first, remove the app with the operating system, and understand what uninstalling does not cancel.

  1. 1Close apps that require the VPN connection
  2. 2Disconnect HorizonVPN and turn off Kill switch or Android Block connections without VPN if normal internet must continue
  3. 3Quit HorizonVPN
  4. 4Remove the app through the operating system's normal Apps, Applications, package, or storage settings
  5. 5Restart the device if a desktop networking component remains active until reboot
  6. 6Remove the old registration from Manage devices if you no longer use that installation

Uninstalling an app does not cancel a Stripe, Apple, or Google subscription and does not delete the HorizonVPN account. Manage those separately before the next renewal if that is your intent.
