Auto-connect — connect on startup or on untrusted networks

Configure HorizonVPN to automatically connect when your device starts or joins a new network.

Auto-connect ensures you're always protected without manually starting the VPN. Configure it to connect on app launch, on device startup, or only on untrusted networks.

  1. 1Go to Settings → Auto-Connect
  2. 2Enable "Launch at Startup" to start HorizonVPN when your device boots
  3. 3Enable "Connect on Launch" to automatically connect when the app opens
  4. 4Add WiFi networks to "Trusted Networks" — HorizonVPN stays disconnected on these

Add your home network to Trusted Networks to avoid routing local traffic through the VPN, which can slightly reduce speeds for local file transfers.
