IP address not changing after connecting

Diagnose why your IP hasn't changed after connecting to HorizonVPN.

  1. 1Check the app status — confirm it shows "Connected" and not "Connecting"
  2. 2Disconnect and reconnect, then wait 10 seconds before checking
  3. 3Visit ipleak.net (tests IP, DNS, and WebRTC leaks together)
  4. 4If only WebRTC is leaking your real IP, enable WebRTC Leak Protection in Settings → Privacy
  5. 5If your real IP is still showing, try a different server or protocol

Some websites cache your location or use server-side geolocation. Clear your browser cache and cookies, or test in a private/incognito window.
