RAM-Only Server Architecture
All HorizonVPN servers run entirely on RAM — there are no hard drives or SSDs. Every server reboot permanently erases all session data. Even if a server were seized, there would be nothing to recover.

Even if a 14 Eyes government issued a legal demand for your data, they would need to route it through the BVI court system — and we still have no activity data to hand over, making any such demand meaningless in practice.
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. Despite its British affiliation, UK laws such as the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 do not apply to the BVI. The territory operates under its own distinct legal framework.
No mandatory data retention laws
The BVI has no legislation requiring companies to collect or retain user data for government access — unlike the EU, US, or UK.

Any legal request for user data must go through the BVI court system, which has historically been protective of privacy and corporate confidentiality.

Our servers are engineered so that logging user activity is technically impossible — not just contractually prohibited.
Every HorizonVPN server runs exclusively in volatile RAM memory. There are no hard drives, SSDs, or any form of persistent storage. When the server is powered off or reboots, every byte of data is instantly and permanently erased — no forensic recovery is possible.
This means that even in the unlikely event of a server seizure by law enforcement, there is nothing to recover. The hardware contains only the operating system image loaded from read-only media — never user data.
