Verify that HorizonVPN is connected

Check the app state and public IP before troubleshooting a website's saved location.

  1. 1Connect HorizonVPN and wait until the app shows Connected
  2. 2Read the connected location and Public IP card when your platform shows them
  3. 3Open the IP address tool on horizonvpn.org or another trusted IP-checking site
  4. 4Confirm the public address differs from the normal address you see while disconnected
  5. 5If needed, repeat the check in a private browser window to avoid cached site data

A website can use cookies, account country, billing country, GPS, or browser location in addition to public IP. Its displayed region alone does not prove that the VPN is disconnected.
