One website or app fails while the VPN works elsewhere

Check site state, cached location, DNS filters, and account rules when the rest of the VPN connection works.

  1. 1Confirm two unrelated websites or apps work through the same VPN connection
  2. 2Check whether the affected service is online and your account is valid
  3. 3Fully close and reopen the affected app, or test the website in a private browser window
  4. 4Clear only that service's cookies or cached data when it keeps an old location
  5. 5Temporarily disable one HorizonVPN DNS threat filter at a time, reconnect, and retest
  6. 6Try another available location in the same country

A service can use its own account country, billing region, device GPS, browser location, or VPN detection. HorizonVPN cannot guarantee that changing network location will override those controls.
