VPN permission was denied or removed

Approve the operating-system VPN configuration so HorizonVPN can create a connection.

Android, iOS, and macOS require operating-system approval before an app can create or manage a VPN connection. HorizonVPN cannot silently grant that permission to itself.

  1. 1Open HorizonVPN and use the main power button
  2. 2Read the operating-system VPN request and approve it
  3. 3Authenticate with the device password, PIN, or biometric prompt if the operating system asks
  4. 4Return to HorizonVPN and connect again
  5. 5If no prompt appears, review the device's VPN settings for an old or disabled HorizonVPN configuration

Only one VPN service can normally own the active system VPN slot. Disconnect another VPN or managed security app before retrying, but do not remove a work or school profile without the owner's approval.
