Double VPN (Multi-Hop) — maximum anonymity explained

Double VPN routes your traffic through two VPN servers instead of one. Your real IP enters Server A, gets encrypted, then exits through Server B — creating two layers of IP masking.

When to use Double VPN

• You're a journalist, activist, or whistleblower needing maximum anonymity
• You're operating in a country with active surveillance
• You want a second protection layer if one server is compromised

Trade-offs

• Speed: noticeably slower — traffic travels through two servers
• Latency: higher ping makes real-time apps (gaming, video calls) worse
• Availability: Windows and macOS only
