Some streaming services restrict VPN traffic or enforce location rules based on your account, billing country, device location, and IP address. HorizonVPN can help with privacy and routing, but access can still vary by service.

  2. 2Connect to a server in the country where your streaming account is normally available
  3. 3Restart the streaming app or browser
  4. 4Clear cookies/cache if the service keeps an old location
  5. 5Try another server in the same country
  6. 6If the service still blocks VPN traffic, contact support with the service name and server country you tested

Still getting a proxy or location error?

  • Confirm the streaming account itself is valid in that region
  • Turn off browser location permissions for the streaming site
  • Clear all cookies and cache before reconnecting
  • Test from a private/incognito browser window
