Kill Switch блокирует весь интернет-трафик при обрыве VPN, предотвращая случайную утечку IP.

Kill Switch (also called Network Lock) automatically cuts your internet connection if the VPN tunnel drops unexpectedly, ensuring your real IP is never exposed during a VPN interruption.

How it works

Without Kill Switch: if your VPN disconnects mid-session, your device falls back to your regular internet connection — exposing your real IP. With Kill Switch, all internet is blocked until the VPN reconnects or you manually disconnect.

Should you enable it?

  • ✅ Enable if: you're torrenting, handling sensitive data, or need guaranteed privacy
  • ✅ Enable if: you're in a country with internet restrictions
  • ⚠️ Consider skipping if: you need continuous internet even during VPN drops (e.g., active video calls)
  • 💡 Use App-Level Kill Switch to only block specific apps (e.g., qBittorrent) rather than all traffic
