Auto-connect ensures you're always protected without manually starting the VPN. Configure it to connect on app launch, on device startup, or only on untrusted networks.
- 1Go to Settings → Auto-Connect
- 2Enable "Launch at Startup" to start HorizonVPN when your device boots
- 3Enable "Connect on Launch" to automatically connect when the app opens
- 4Add WiFi networks to "Trusted Networks" — HorizonVPN stays disconnected on these
Add your home network to Trusted Networks to avoid routing local traffic through the VPN, which can slightly reduce speeds for local file transfers.
