Some networks — corporate offices, schools, hotels, and restrictive countries — actively block VPN traffic using filtering or deep packet inspection. HorizonVPN includes protocol modes designed for these conditions.
- 1Go to Settings → Protocol
- 2Try Auto first, then reconnect
- 3If Auto fails, select Stealth and reconnect
- 4If the network is still blocking the VPN, try HTTP, HTTP Max, or TLS
- 5Use TCP when the network is unstable and UDP-based modes fail
Protocol availability can vary by app version, platform, and server location. If a mode is missing, update the app or contact support with your platform and country.
