Will a VPN change my For You feed?
Not predictably. Recommendations can reflect your viewing and interaction history as well as other signals. Use TikTok’s own content preferences when you want to change recommendations; a network route is not a feed reset.
Does it change account region or GPS?
It changes the public IP used by routed traffic. It does not rewrite GPS permissions, the SIM region or TikTok’s account settings. If you genuinely move, follow the account-region process and conditions TikTok displays.
Why can I watch but not upload?
Downloading and uploading stress different parts of a connection. File format, app permissions, account restrictions or a weak upstream connection may explain the difference. Save the source file and test a smaller clip on the same route.
Can the browser extension cover TikTok on my phone?
