Start with the service you actually subscribe to. Hotstar is still a familiar search name, while JioHotstar now serves several markets with their own offers. Horizon can change your network route; it does not supply a subscription, phone verification or permission to watch outside a service’s rules.

JioStar announced JioHotstar launches in the UK, Canada and Singapore in September 2026. An old Hotstar guide may describe another market, so check the official local service and subscription details.
Rights follow more than an address
Hotstar’s India terms tie content to location, device and account conditions, and prohibit concealing geographic location through tools including VPNs. Selecting an exit does not replace those conditions.
